Born and raised in that little big island Jamaica, his love for music has led him on a journey most people only dream about.

Duane started out as a DJ while attending High School at Jamaica College, where his self-named sound system Idlerz Disco, now dubbed Changez International, was one of the first sound systems in Jamaica to play Buju Banton’s music and was instrumental in the start of Major Lazor member, Walshy Fiyah’s career. With his sights set on bigger things, he went on to get his degree in Sound Engineering at Miami Dade College. There he was given the name "Midilord" for his ability to connect samplers, drum machines, and keyboards together to producing music.

Immediately after graduating from Miami Dade College he went on to work in recording studios with many Artists. The long list includes stars like Common, The Roots, Slick Rick, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, and Sean Paul, just to name a few. He has also worked with Producers such as Scott Storch, Quest Love, and Jeremy Harding. While freelancing as a Recording/Mix Engineer, he also got into recording studio design and consultation, where he successfully designed and performed installs in professional facilities between Jamaica and Miami.

In 2001 Duane started touring the world with Grammy winning Reggae Artist Sean Paul, as his Production Manager/Engineer for 6 years. He then toured with Dance Hall/Reggae superstar Shaggy, as Monitor Engineer, until accepting the position as Recording Studio Manager at Miami Dade College in 2008. While working at Miami Dade College Duane also managed various artists including top ten finalist, Anita Antoinette, best known for her appearance on “The Voice”.

Duane’s love for audio and fascination with the mastering process has fueled his desire for new heights and placed him in his custom-built mastering studio located in Miami Florida. His Mastering credits already include songs by Shaggy, Julian Marley, Junior Reid, and Beenie Man, just to name a few.
